It is their well loved home that they take you through and invite you to feel comfortable and relaxed in the place they have grown up in.
Local knowledge always brings unexpected surprises and the wonderful background stories do make this part of Umbria come to life …………… did you know that St Francis (of Assisi) lived and prayed on the mountain behind Spoleto? Did you know that there is a little cave he withdrew into for meditation and prayer?...... Daniela and Luca know.

Our party of four Australians had a day tour to Norcia – home of St Benedict - that included a drive through the stunningly gorgeous Piano Grande, a meal (with truffles) at an ancient hotel in Norcia – cooking done on a huge open fire at the edge of a huge open dining room, a visit to a chocolate factory and at the end of the day a visit to St Francis monastery, the Sacred Forest and that little cave.
We didn’t want the day to end and hold it in our hearts as a very special privilege to have been able to spend some time with Daniela and Lucca – Tasting Travel.
